Hello there,
17/7= 2 3/7
The lowest common multiple of 7 in the number of 17 is 14. So 2 x 7=14
So, let 2 be your whole number. Then the remainder which is 17 - 14 = 3, will be placed as 3/7. Then you merge those two together and you get, 2 3/7
