[tex]Cos(37)= \frac{adjacent}{hypothenuse} = \frac{4}{5} [/tex]
The hypotenuse is 5 unit and the adjacent side to the angle is 4 unit. We can find the other side using Pythagoras theorem

[tex] \sqrt{5^{2}- (4^{2}) } = \sqrt{9}=3 [/tex]

Hence the value of [tex]sin(37)= \frac{opposite}{hypothenuse}= \frac{3}{5} [/tex]
