why can't we see the trees and cities from outer space?

Explanation:

It's the same thing as saying, why can't I see a atom with my bare eye???

The trees and cities are just WAY too small and far away for us to see if we were in outer space.

because it's too far away. you can however see some large structures like the great wall of China from space
